Beni Suef Mass Communication holds a monthly scientific seminar to discuss the research plans submitted for registration for a master's degree in news journalism.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Seminar, Prof. Dr. Islam Othman, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Fatima Fayez, Head of the Journalism Department, and in the presence of a number of faculty members, assistant staff, and researchers at the Faculty, the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty and the Journalism Department organized the monthly scientific seminar for students of the News Journalism Program, Academic Master’s Program.


The seminar included the presentation of six research plans. During the researchers’ discussion, the professors praised the submitted plans and explained the required amendments to each plan, which included taking into account linguistic review and adjusting the wording of the submitted research plans. In addition to the need for systematic review of research, the diversity of previous studies, both recent Arab and foreign, and the consistency of the study's questions and hypotheses with the theory used, researchers should also use the APA documentation style to present previous studies, comment on them, and identify ways to benefit from them in serving the study.
