The Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University participated over two days in the training program for the evaluators of the Egypt Government Excellence Award for internal awards. The program was launched by the university under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, with the support of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty, and Mr. Mohamed Ali Khalifa, Director General of the Faculty.
The college was represented at the training program by Dr. Fatima Ali Al-Abasiry, the college's Director of Public Relations, as one of the award's approved evaluators, along with a group of 20 evaluators from various colleges across the university.
The training was supervised by Dr. Ihab Mahmoud Abdullah, the Ministry of Planning's accredited trainer for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, in the presence of Dr. Amgad Bahig, the award's evaluation officer, and Ms. Intisar Abdel Baqi, Director of the Environmental Projects Department. The training program included a detailed explanation of the desk and field evaluation criteria, as well as practical application mechanisms to meet the award's requirements and enhance colleges' competitiveness.
For his part, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the Faculty's participation in the training program represents a qualitative addition to the Faculty and the University. He explained that enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative cadres opens up broad horizons for developing institutional performance and consolidating the principles of transparency and excellence, thus contributing to achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
