In a new achievement for the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni-Suef University, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the film (Aisha is still here )won the Grand Audience Award at the Algerian Digital Gateway Festival, which is considered the first monthly festival of its kind in Africa and the Middle East dedicated to digital and cinematic productions.
The film participated in the festival after being officially selected for the competition, where it received remarkable engagement from the audience, contributing to its winning of the grand prize in recognition of its idea and artistic treatment.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that the excellence of the faculty’s students in international forums reflects the quality of the educational process and the continuous support provided to young talents. He also affirmed that this accomplishment embodies the ability of Beni-Suef Mass Communication students to compete at both regional and international levels.
