The National Council for Women honors Beni Suef College of Mass Communication for participating in monitoring Ramadan 2024 drama

Today, Thursday, the National Council for Egyptian Women held a honoring ceremony on the sidelines of the Media Committee of the National Council for Women monitoring and analyzing the image of women in dramatic and media works presented during the month of Ramadan 2024, regarding women leading starring roles and focusing on social issues.
During the ceremony, the Faculty of Mass Communication, Beni Suef University, was honored for participating with 210 male and female students, researchers and faculty members from various Egyptian universities in analyzing the content of dramatic works in the Ramadan drama monitoring process.
It is worth noting that the College of Mass Communication, with the support of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayyed, Dean of the College, and under the supervision of Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Amani Hamdi, Director of the Women’s Research Center, analyzed two dramatic works in which the role of Egyptian women appeared, the drama “Penal Labour ” was processed under the supervision of  Dr. Yousra Akoush, Assistant Lecturer at the Journalism Department, and the students (Manar Ammar, Mohamed Sabry, Gina Ashraf, Shehab Ahmed, Verena Anis, and Youssef Ahmed).
The college also participated in analyzing the drama “The boss” under the supervision of Dr. Nada Shaaban Al-Deeb, teaching assistant at the Department of Public Relations, and a group of students (Mena Allah Muhammad, Ahmed Hassan, Dina Talaat, Maryam Muhammad, Antonius Al-Qass, and Fatma Al-Zahraa Ma’rouf).
The results of the dramatic analysis revealed a group of negative and positive points that reflected women's social issues.
