Simulation model for the experience of evacuating buildings and dealing with crises in Beni Suef Mass Communication

Within the framework of the university and faculty plan to prepare to deal with emergency events and situations and train students and staff on the best behavior to confront crises, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty , and under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector headed by Professor Dr. Noha Al-Abd, and in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Ali Khalifa, General Manager of the Faculty , and Ms.Iman Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Faculty, today, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Mr. Sayed Abu Al-Ela, Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Department at the Faculty , gave an introductory lecture on how to evacuate buildings in the event of any emergency, and how to deal with crises and disasters, followed by a practical experience to train on the evacuation plan.
A group of faculty members, assistant staff, employees, students, workers and security staff participated in the experiment. All faculty members were trained on how to act quickly and safely in the event of an emergency, hear the alarm, follow the signs, identify exits and assembly points through the prepared emergency exits, and apply first aid in the event of any crisis. The evacuation plan was successful in a short time, followed by an electronic questionnaire about the experiment.
