The Press Department of Beni Suef Mass Communication participates in the second day of the Journalists Syndicate Conference

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz El Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nahla El Abd, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Nisreen Hossam El Din, Head of the Journalism Department, a delegation of faculty members and students from the Journalism Department participated for the second day in attending the activities of the Sixth General Conference of the Journalists Syndicate.

The delegation consisted of Dr. Engy Hamdy and Dr. Naglaa Jaafar, teachers in the department, and Mr. Amin Mohamed, Mr. Taha Salah, Mrs. Fatima Fathy, Mrs. Nadia Rafaei, and Mrs. Mai Rabie, members of assistant staff at the department .

The delegation attended the discussion sessions that discussed professional and organizational issues of interest to the journalism profession. We discussed the challenges facing journalists and some of them made interventions in some of these sessions, including: the future of journalism (paper and digital) in the era of multiple media and social communication, the needs of the reader and the challenges of accuracy and objectivity of coverage, towards a contemporary registration system in the Journalists Syndicate, towards a contemporary registration system in the Journalists Syndicate, the challenges of journalistic training and its economics between cost and return, the challenges of distributing newspapers and marketing electronic content, towards a modern journalistic code of honor and codes of conduct, the curricula of Mass Communication faculties and developments in the journalistic labor market, developing the resources of the Journalists Syndicate between capabilities and crises of reality, freedom of information exchange in light of the constitutional entitlement and developments in the profession.
