Beni Suef Mass Communication organizes a workshop on "self-defense techniques"

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz El Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Youth Care Department at the Faculty, headed by Mrs/ Asmaa El Sayed, organized The College's Youth Care Department, headed by Mrs/ Asmaa El-Sayed, in cooperation with the College's Student Union, organized a workshop on "Self-Defense Techniques" on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Captain Salim Yasser Juma, the Republic's champion in Kung Fu, lectured in the workshop. During the workshop, Salim discussed self-defense striking techniques with the hand and foot, tactics and strategies for reading and anticipating an opponent's movements, mental and psychological training, and practical application of these techniques
The workshop was attended by Dr. Noha Al-Talawi, Assistant Professor in the College's Public Relations Department; Mr. Mohammed Ali Khalifa, College Director; Ms. Iman Abdullah, Deputy Director; and a number of faculty members, support staff, staff, and students. The workshop witnessed significant interaction among attendees with the practical applications of self-defense presented by the trainer, expressing their appreciation for the significant benefits they gained during the workshop
