Beni Suef Mass Communication participates in a symposium on World Press Freedom Day

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Attia, Coordinator of the English Language Department at the Faculty, participated in the activities of the symposium  which organized by the Youth and Sports Directorate in Beni Suef Governorate, in celebration of World Press Freedom Day which Celebrated annually on May 3rd, the symposium was attended by several representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, along with a select group of specialists and those  who are interested in media issues and freedom of expression
The event discussed the role of journalism in supporting transparency and strengthening democracy, as well as the challenges facing freedom of journalism in light of the rapid developments in the media landscape
This participation comes within the framework of the college's commitment to engaging with societal issues and enhancing its presence in events that contribute to raising public awareness of media issues and freedom of expression
