Mass Communication Beni Suef University Organizes a Scientific Seminar as Part of the “Correct Your Concepts” Initiative to Enhance Community Awareness

Within the framework of the societal and enlightenment role undertaken by academic institutions, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University; Professor Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty; and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdel Rahim Darwish, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development; and in the presence of Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University organized a scientific seminar entitled “Correct Your Concepts.”
This seminar was held as part of the initiative adopted by the Ministry of Awqaf, which aims to correct misconceptions, enhance intellectual awareness, and build an enlightened knowledge-based discourse among youth.

The seminar was delivered by Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Shawky, Professor of Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Beni Suef University, who presented an in-depth academic discussion addressing a number of intellectual and societal issues. He emphasized that correcting misconceptions represents a key approach to building awareness and confronting erroneous ideas that may negatively affect societal stability and cohesion, stressing the importance of integration between religious and educational institutions in this regard.

The seminar witnessed notable interaction from students and faculty members, as space was provided for discussion and questions, contributing to the consolidation of correct concepts, the development of critical thinking, and the support of the State’s efforts to spread awareness and confront intellectual extremism.
