Beni Suef Mass Communication Discusses Master’s Research Proposals within the Monthly Scientific Seminar

Within the framework of supporting scientific research and advancing the quality of postgraduate studies, the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University held its monthly scientific seminar to discuss research proposals submitted for registration in Master’s programs. The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Seminar, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Islam Othman, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sayed, former Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Fatma Fayez, Head of the Journalism Department, along with a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, researchers, and academic leaders of the Faculty.

The seminar featured the presentation and discussion of five research proposals submitted by students of the academic Master’s program in News Journalism. The researchers presented their topics before the seminar committee, which provided scientific and methodological feedback aimed at refining the proposals and enhancing their academic quality.

The discussions emphasized the importance of linguistic accuracy and proper formulation, adherence to methodological standards in constructing both theoretical and applied frameworks, as well as the necessity of following the APA referencing style in presenting and analyzing previous studies, and identifying ways to benefit from them in a manner that serves the research objectives and strengthens its scientific value.
