Beni Suef University Mass Communication Wins First Place at the Arab Youth Media Forum

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University; Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Faculty achieved a distinguished accomplishment as the graduation project “Box 8” won first place in the “Best Graduation Project” competition in the Public Relations category. The award was presented as part of the Tenth Edition of the Arab Youth Media Forum, hosted by Misr University for Science and Technology under the patronage of H.E. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.

The tenth edition of the Forum witnessed the participation of more than 40 Egyptian and Arab universities through sessions and workshops featuring a distinguished group of academics, experts, and media professionals.

The project’s victory—supervised by Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Noha El-Tallawy, Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department, with the participation of the assisting staff members Ms. Nada El-Deeb and Mr. Hossam El-Aroush—comes as a culmination of the students’ efforts and excellence in presenting an applied project that reflects professional awareness and strong capabilities in planning and innovation.

The student team included: Mahmoud Khalaf, Osama Ezzat, Asmaa Ramadan, Fadia Mohamed, Mira Magdy, Shadwa Amr, Lojain Talaat, Naglaa Mahmoud, Mariam El-Bayoumi, Rana Emad, Somaya Nageh, and Mirna Jean.

The Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Hala El-Monoufy, President of Misr University for Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Amani El-Husseiny, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the University; and H.E. Counselor Mady Abdullah Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Youth Media Forum, for their support and for hosting this distinguished Arab event.
