Meeting of the Council of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Beni Suef University – February 2026

The Council of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University held its monthly meeting this afternoon under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of the Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, and Council members.

At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, for his continuous support to the Faculty across various sectors. He commended the provision of new sports equipment and air-conditioning units, which contribute to improving the work environment, supporting student activities, and fostering an appropriate academic atmosphere within the Faculty.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the regularity of the educational process and the progress of lectures at the beginning of the second semester, emphasizing adherence to academic schedules and the achievement of academic discipline to ensure the quality of educational outcomes.

The Council also discussed recent developments in the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, as well as the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in addition to reviewing reports submitted by the Quality Assurance Unit. A number of standards were examined in preparation for completing the procedures for accreditation application, as part of the Faculty’s plan for continuous institutional development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council approved a number of academic and administrative decisions, including those related to the promotion of certain members of the assisting staff to various academic ranks.
