Faculty of Mass Communication , Beni Suef University , participates in a workshop to activate the role of units to combat violence against women

Within the cooperation between the National Council for Women's and the Egyptian universities, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz El Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Noha El Abd, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a delegation from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Beni Suef University, participated in the workshop held by the National Council for Women over the course of Sunday and Monday, December 8-9, under the title "Activating the Role of Units to Combat Violence Against Women in Egyptian Universities" in light of implementing the National Strategy of the Egyptian State 2030.

The workshop aims to build the capacities of faculty members, assistant staff and students to implement the specializations of the anti-violence against women units at universities. In addition to activating their role to serve women and girls and provide continuous support to provide a safe educational environment on campus.


The faculty delegation consisted of Professor Rahab Al-Sharif and Ms. Yasmine Mustafa, members of the faculty’s assistant staff, and students Arwa Muhammad, Fatima Al-Bakri, Abdul Rahman Al-Suwaifi and Ahmed Juma.
