Beni Suef Mass Communication begins its new academic year by emphasizing discipline and commitment.

Within the framework of the support and interest of His Excellency Professor Dr. Tariq Ali, President of Beni Suef University, in the educational process and his keenness to provide all means of success to advance the university, today, Sunday, September 29, 2024, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, held a meeting with the deans, heads of academic departments, directors of centers, faculty members, and auxiliary staff at the college.

The Dean of the College began the meeting by welcoming the attendees, thanking the University President for his continued support, and congratulating the faculty members, employees, and students on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2025/2026.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi emphasized that discipline and seriousness are the pillars of the new academic year at the Faculty of Mass Communication, along with full consistency in the educational process from the first day of study and adherence to lecture schedules. His Excellency also paid special attention to academic advising, highlighting the importance of facilitating course registration procedures for students and following up on them until the registration deadline, ensuring students have a stable and organized start to the academic year.

In a related context, the Dean of the College emphasized the vital role of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in building effective student awareness, directing the need to prepare an integrated plan to organize educational seminars and awareness-raising and training activities that cover various current societal, cultural and media issues, in order to enhance the personality of the university student and qualify him to keep pace with the requirements of society and the labor market. He also emphasized that the College is proceeding steadily in developing all its sectors, foremost among which is the Quality Sector to prepare for academic and programmatic accreditation, and the Postgraduate Studies Sector to expand the scientific research base and support researchers, especially in light of the commencement of studies for the academic master's degree in the three scientific departments.

The Dean of the College concluded the meeting by emphasizing that the College seeks to be a model of discipline and excellence in its new academic year. He also emphasized that the College will continue to support the University's development plans, contributing to strengthening its position locally, regionally, and internationally.
