Beni Suef Mass Communication organizes the first academic guidance meeting for faculty members and their assistants.

As part of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University's commitment to activating the academic advising system and developing communication mechanisms with students, the faculty's Advising and Registration Unit today organized the first academic advising meeting for faculty members and support staff.
The event was attended by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Tariq Ali, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Vice Deans and Heads of Academic Departments, along with a group of faculty members, assistant staff, and Mr. Mohamed Ali Khalifa, Director of the College.
During the meeting, Dr. Amani Hamdy, Director of the Guidance and Registration Unit, emphasized that academic advising represents the cornerstone of supporting university students and helping them adapt to their educational environment. She noted that the unit has developed a comprehensive action plan aimed at familiarizing faculty members with their responsibilities in this vital area and providing academic, psychological, and administrative support to students from the beginning of the academic year.
For his part, the university president commended the efforts made by the College of Mass Communication in the field of academic advising, emphasizing that the university attaches special importance to this system due to its pivotal role in improving the quality of education and strengthening the student-faculty relationship, which positively impacts students' academic performance and their professional future.
The Vice President for Education and Student Affairs explained that implementing academic guidance based on scientific principles helps overcome obstacles facing students, helps them choose their courses wisely, and maximizes their learning experience.
The meeting concluded with the Dean of the College affirming that the Guidance and Registration Unit will continue to serve as an effective link between students and faculty members, calling on everyone to cooperate in ensuring the success of this system and achieving its desired goals.
