As part of Beni Suef University’s commitment, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, to developing students’ skills and preparing them for the job market, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Mass Communication organized a training workshop titled “Career Planning… Interview Skills.” The workshop was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Noha Al-Tallawy, Head of the Department.
The workshop was organized in cooperation with the University Career Development Center at Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Emad El-Din Mohamed Kamel, Director of the Center, with the participation of the Center’s team:
Dr. Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Selim, Education, Counseling, and Career Development Officer; Dr. Randa Yassin Mohamed, Media and Marketing Officer;Mr. Mahmoud Fathy Ragab, Employment and Corporate Relations Officer;Mr. Khaled Mohamed Kamel Obeid, Information Technology Officer; and attended by a large number of faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students.
The workshop addressed several important themes related to career planning, including methods for setting future goals aligned with students’ skills and capabilities, as well as practical training on interview skills and how to prepare a professional résumé (CV).
For his part, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that such workshops contribute to the comprehensive preparation of media students both academically and professionally, emphasizing that the faculty places special importance on linking theoretical study with practical application and the job market.
The Center’s team also praised the active engagement of the students during the workshop, confirming their commitment to continuing cooperation with the Faculty of Mass Communication in organizing future events that support its students in the fields of training, employment, and entrepreneurship.
