Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni-Suef University Appointed as a Member of the Higher Committee for Monitoring Media Performance for the 2025 House of Representatives Elections

Dr. Tarek Saada, Member of Parliament and Head of the Media Syndicate, announced the formation of the Supreme Committee for Monitoring Media Performance for the 2025 House of Representatives Elections, which includes a distinguished group of media professors and experts in Egypt, among them Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni-Suef University.

The committee is tasked with professionally monitoring and analyzing the coverage of the elections by official and private media outlets, both visual and audio, to ensure their commitment to standards of objectivity and credibility.

The selection of Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy comes in recognition of his academic role and the efforts of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni-Suef University, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, in supporting media training and enhancing professionalism.

For his part, the Dean expressed his pride in joining the committee, affirming the importance of the academic role in developing a responsible professional media system.
