Faculty of Mass Communication Beni Suef University Organizes an Educational Seminar on “Negotiation and Persuasion Skills” in Cooperation with the Social Solidarity Unit

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty of Media, and Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, the Faculty— in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Unit—organized an educational seminar titled “Negotiation and Persuasion Skills.” The event was held as part of the university’s awareness activity plan and witnessed the participation of a large number of students.

The seminar was delivered by Ms. Mona Hossam El-Din Mohamed, a life skills trainer, who addressed a set of key themes, including the fundamentals of negotiation, stages of successful negotiation, persuasion strategies, the art of dialogue management, mechanisms for building trust and influencing others, in addition to practical applications and open discussions with students.

The event witnessed strong student engagement. Participants emphasized the importance of the topic and its relevance to their academic and professional lives, praising the efforts of the Faculty and the Social Solidarity Unit in organizing such purposeful seminars that enhance their skills and develop their personal capabilities.

It is worth noting that the seminar was also supported by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi, with the participation of Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Oqabi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Media and General Coordinator of Social Solidarity Units in Egyptian universities; Professor Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Mr. Mohamed Khalifa, Director of the Faculty; Ms. Iman Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Faculty; and Ms. Asmaa El-Sayed, Director of Youth Welfare at the Faculty.
