Beni Suef Mass Communication Holds the Monthly Scientific Seminar to Discuss Research Proposals for Master’s Programs

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University; Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Seminar; Professor Dr. Islam Othman, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs; and Dr. Fatma Fayez, Head of the Journalism Department, the Graduate Studies and Research Sector and the Journalism Department at the Faculty organized the monthly scientific seminar for students of the Academic Master’s Program in News Journalism. The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and researchers of the Faculty.

The seminar included the presentation and discussion of five research proposals submitted for registration for the Master’s degree. The researchers presented their academic topics to the seminar committee, which provided a set of precise scholarly recommendations.

The most prominent remarks raised during the discussions emphasized the necessity of linguistic proofreading and accuracy of wording, adherence to scientific standards within the methodological framework of the research, and the importance of complying with the APA style of academic referencing in presenting previous studies, commenting on them, and identifying aspects of benefit in a manner that serves the objectives of the studies.
